Scott Currey of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce is here to talk about the upcoming Faire on the Square Arts and Craft Show August 31 to September 2, 2019. Stroll under the American Elm trees and visit more than 120 vendors selling fine art, jewelry, food and more. The free event takes place from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday-Sunday and 9 am to 3 pm on Monday (Labor Day). While your in Prescott check out the Visitor’s Center. Robert Coombs, the Visitor Center Manager shows us the Prescott Heritage Trail map that has almost 30 stops. The self-guided historical walking tour can be completed in about one hour in the area around the court house plaza. There is also a History Hunt book where visitors can go to buildings with historical plaques to learn more about the area’s history. Everyone who completes the History Hunt and returns to the Visitor’s Center will receive a special award button.
